Ardennes Open trials – Vielsalm

Field: same as the St Patrick’s trial held in March 2018 – Judge: Ryan John Quinn (N.Ireland)
Trial day 1- Saturday 16thNovember – Class 3 (possibly class 2 if there is room)
Trial day 2– Sunday 17thNovember – Class 3 (possibly class 2 if there is room)
A DOG CAN BE ENTERED FOR ONE OF THE TWO DAYS – NOT BOTH
2 runs per day - 15€/run FSB member - 20€/run non-FSB member
Prizes will be given at the end of each day
2 dogs maximum per handler – a 3rddog will be put on the reserve list
20 handler/dog combinations per day
Sheep – Red Ardennes (not “school” sheep) - Big, hilly field (challenging), +/- 450m outrun
Priority entries to class 3 – entries will then open for class 2
Payment confirms entry (latest 8thNovember)
Cancellations will not be reimbursed

A trial will take place on Saturday 28 december and a second trial on Sunday 29 december. Each day 2 runs will be ran in Class 1, 2 and rookies (beginning dog or handler with a limited outrun and possiblity to assist at the 6 or 12 hour position)
Each day will close with a result table and day prices.
Participation fee for each day (2 runs) :
Class 1 and class 2, FSB and clubmembers : 20 euro ; others : 25 euro
Rookies : 10 euro. (for 2 runs)
Location : Kalissestraat 1 , 8958 Loker
Parking and accomodation are foreseen.
Camping is possible, reservation is required.
Registration will open on 22 Nov on the FSB site.
Payment will be done by wire transfer according instructions delivered in the registration process.

Planning trials :
The following trials are planned in Kaggevine (Diest) in the month of November 2020. 2 Fields are available for Class 3 handlers in Kaggevine.
3 days of Open trial will be ran during WE 1 from 1 to 3 Nov on Field 2.
2 days of pre-qualification Continental trials will be ran during WE 1 from 2 to 3 Nov on Field 1.
3 days of qualification World trial will be opened during WE 2 from 9 to 11 Nov. Participants will run 2 from the 3 days. The third day will be used as reserve day to absorb the runs that cannot be excuted by daylight during the first 2 days.
