Important info concerning Christmas trial Class 2 on 30 Dec 2022
Dear participant,
First of all, we would like to thank you for registering for our competition on:Friday 30 December 2022 for Class 2.Due to the success we have received many registrations.
Our initial plan to have everyone run 2 runs per day had to be abandoned because of this.As there will already be a Class 3 run on Wednesday and Thursday, we cannot add an extra day on Saturday 31/12.
In order to give everyone a fair chance to take part in this competition, the following has been decided:Everyone who has paid for 1 run before 20/12/2022 will get a place on the starting list.
For the second run, the best 15 results will be retained. The entry fee for the second run must be paid to the organisation on the spot before entering the field.
The entry fee for the 2nd run is 15€ for everyone, please provide exact change.
If you already paid for 2 runs, they will of course be refunded within a reasonable period of time.
With this arrangement, we hope to offer everyone a sporty end of the year.
Best regards,
Stijn De Vroey
Registration young handlers
The young handlers return to the scene. The latest editions of the World Championships and Continental Championships considered devoting a section of the competition to the young handlers.
The FSB has therefore decided to issue a call to the community sheep handlers to find out how many potential young handlers could be nominated to compete in the young sheep handlers' competition section.
We therefore ask candidates to register on the site together with their dog(s) via the link
At the same time, we ask for more detailed information about the dogs so that a possible file to the Continental and World can easily be submitted.
Apart from the information, we are also thinking of a competition to give the young handlers experience in selection trials.Registration is open until 15 October 2022.

Registration for participation in the Continental 2021 selection and the Belgian Class 3 Championship.(Updated 19 May)
From 25 to 27 June 2021, a selection weekend (3 days) will be organised in order to select the team of participants for the Continental 2021 in the Netherlands, which is scheduled from 11 to 15 August. The registration must be entered and paid before 28 May 2021 on the account of the FSB IBAN: BE86 734-0187057-50 (BIC: KREDBEBB).
A maximum of 2 dogs per handler is allowed.
Important
The rules for class 2 dogs were discussed at the 2021 General Assembly.
The FSB allows a one-time promotion of class 2 dogs to class 3 at the initiative of the handlers in order to participate in the qualifying weekend this year.
Class 2 dogs who, according to their handler, have the ability to compete in Class 3 but have not had the opportunity to be promoted to that class under the 3 x 70 point rule due to Covid19 restrictions, may exceptionally enter their dog in Class 3 for the qualifying weekend.
However, once registered, they will no longer be able to participate in class 2 competitions at a later date and will therefore remain permanently registered in class 3.

Qualification trial for World 2020: BorderlineCollie Trial (21-22 Sep 2019)
The BorderlineCollie qualificiation trial for the selection of the Belgian team World 2020 will take place in Robertville from 21 to 22 september 2019.
This trial is also an opportunity beside the qualification to gather sponsoring funding for the non profit organisation called BorderlineCollie (BLC).
This association was created in 2012 by Nathalie Tixhon-de Spa and is intended to support border collies that have no home anymore. BLC is actually active in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Switserland. BLC was able to place about 100 border collies in new families since 1 January 2019. The organisation need support (volunteers, families to support the dogs, ...) and also some financial support (veterinary cost, dogs in long term transit etc.) This is the reason why the full profit of the activity will be donated to the BLC. So be welcome to join us and spend a enjoyable moment with us.
